PLANTAS MEDICINAIS MANIPULAÇÃO E USO NA COMUNIDADE QUILOMBOLA DO CEDRO - MINEIROS-GO

Abstract

This book is part of the results obtained through the research entitled “Quilombola do Cedro Culture in an intercultural perspective in Basic Education ”, financed by the National Development Council Scientific and Technological (CNPq), developed by servers of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Goiás (IF Goiano), in partnership with the Federal University of Jataí / GO (UFJ). From 2015 to 2018, ethnographic studies were carried out and ethnobotanical in the Quilombola do Cedro Community, located in the city of Mineiros, in the state of Goiás, with the objective of rescuing local cultural histories and the interrelationship between man and plant, strengthening the preservation of cultural and vegetal diversity. As a result of this research, a collection of educational material was developed to contribute to an intercultural dialogue between the community of remnants and society, in particular, with the school community. Cedrin's traditional knowledge of medicinal plants the Cerrado biome has attracted the attention of the academic world. In this material, approximately 170 species of plants used by the remnants in the handling of their products. Cataloging brings the scientific and popular name, family and part of plant used as an active ingredient. This work is divided into three parts: the first presents historical, geographic, socioeconomic and cultural aspects of the Quilombola do Cedro Community; the second part provides an account of the cedrines work with medicinal plants and the latter presents the cataloging part of the medicinal plants used by them.
