DO ASSISTENCIALISMO AO PROCESSO EDUCATIVO: O PAPEL PEDAGÓGICO DA CRECHE

Abstract

The pedagogical role of daycare centers”, and part of the following concerns: how was this conception of the daycare center built as an assistance institution? What important changes have happened since the first daycare centers to the present day? What significance did these changes have in the lives of children? The questions led to the development of the theme, with the objective of understanding the transformations that have occurred historically about the meaning of the daycare center since the moment of its creation, in which there is an assistance perspective, until the present day. The achievements and laws that regulate the educational process in daycare centers and the right to school education, as well as the pedagogical role that the daycare plays in early childhood education. We briefly present the understanding of children and childhood from the Industrial Revolution to the present. To this end, we analyzed documents and laws developed in order to standardize teaching in daycare and pre-school, through this document analysis and bibliographic research of a qualitative nature.
