A LITERATURA INFANTIL COMO PRÁTICA PEDAGÓGICA PARA INCENTIVO DA LEITURA NA PRIMEIRA FASE DO ENSINO FUNDAMENTAL

Abstract

This paper aims to present children's literature as a means of enabling the development of the reading habit to learners of the first phase of elementary school, identifies the role of the teacher as a trainer of new readers, highlighting the contributions of storytelling For the development of the habit of reading. The theme of the research is to carry out a study about the role of children's literature as a pedagogical practice that encourages reading in the first cycle of elementary school. Through bibliographic research it was possible to develop this study. It is well known that there are recurring problems in the country about reading education that is presented without punctuation, without understanding the content read, and is a factor so that the student does not show interest in reading. Children's literature brings books with more attractive illustrations, due to the use of technological resources, with a huge and varied content of themes in stories that enchant the young beginners in the activity of reading. It is up to the educator to encourage, to stimulate the curiosity of each student, so that he can progress in the world of reading, making this activity a habit of contentment and not the accomplishment of a school task.
