PRÁTICAS DE LEITURA E ESCRITA NA EJA EM MORRINHOS

Abstract

This exploratory qualitative research was carried out in Youth and Adult Education, in the class of Elementary School I in the Portuguese Language discipline with a view to verifying and analyzing how is the process of reading and writing acquisition in this segment. For the purpose of this study, the observations of the classes, as well as the materials used by the teachers. We also carried out a bibliographical research concerning the context of the research and semi-structured interviews with two students of the class, pedagogical coordinator and class teacher. In carrying out this study, we verified that as classes offered to the students belonging to this modality of teaching are only summarized in the decoding of the writing codes, and there is no reading practice in the class. Thus, as techniques used in the class are purely mechanized, with a traditional teaching not qualified for the outside and seen as a container without the teachers holding the saber depositing the knowledge.
