dc.description.abstractEste livro é o resultado de uma pesquisa realizada na Comunidade Quilombola do Cedro, de Mineiros, Goiás. Ele é destinado, principalmente, aos alunos do ensino médio. Trata-se de uma narrativa em processo interativo, construída por meio de uma amizade entre dois adolescentes, um de Mineiros e outro de Campinas, SP, que se conhecem em uma praia do litoral paulista. Os dois amigos trocam cartas e informações sobre a Comunidade do Cedro, deixando o paulista e o seu pai, biólogo, muito interessados em conhecer a comunidade que é famosa pelos remédios fitoterápicos que fabrica e comercializa. Nessa troca epistolar há muitas informações e impressões sobre os negros do Cedro e sua raça.pt_BR

dc.description.resumoThis book is the result of a research done in the Quilombola Community of Cedro, in Mineiros, Goiás. It is intended, mainly, for the students from the high school. It is a narrative in an interactive process built through a friendship among two adolescents, one of them from Mineiros and the other one from Campinas, SP, who know each other on a beach from the paulista coast. Both friends exchange letters and informations about the Cedro Community, leaving the paulista and his father, biologist, very interested of knowing the community that is famous for herbal medicines that it make and commercialize. In this epistolary exchange there is great informations and impressions about the black people of Cedro and its race.pt_BR
