A ATUAÇÃO DO PEDAGOGO (A) COM A PSICOMOTRICIDADE NA EDUCAÇÃO INFANTIL: ANÁLISES E REFLEXÕES PARA O DESENVOLVIMENTO DA CRIANÇA

Abstract

This theoretical essay brings the discussion about how psychomotricity is important to be worked on for child development. Starting from the thinking based on studies that movements are related to both the body and the brain, because when using the body to express feelings, it can be characterized by psychomotricity, contributing explicitly to body development through movement. Thus, the relevance of the study in question in early childhood education is verified with the purpose of presenting the contribution of psychomotricity to development in general, especially with regard to learning. Therefore, the main objective here is to reflect the need for the work of the pedagogue of early childhood education for the psychomotor development of the child social being. In this sense, it is worth asking about the importance of pedagogical work attentive to the movements and other motor skills of the child? For better understanding, the essay was divided by topics aiming at a study related to psychomotricity, child development through psychomotor development and the role of the pedagogue in this context. Through this literature review, it is highlighted that psychomotor work in the first stage of basic education significantly collaborates with the biological, psychological and social development of the child, that is, with the integral development of children.
