A UTILIZAÇÃO DA METODOLOGIA SCRUM NA EDUCAÇÃO

Abstract

This article aims to explore the use of the Scrum methodology in education, considering that information and communication technologies (ICTs) are part of contemporary reality and are constantly transforming, with new designs and configurations. Thus, ICTs are related to new ways of working in various social segments and also in schools. In this sense, the objective of this research is to analyze the relationship between the Scrum methodology, constantly used in software project management, and its possibilities for insertion in education, based on the academic production of articles on the subject. Scrum is a methodology used for the dynamic management of projects, allowing for the effective and efficient control of teamwork. The subject of this research is relevant because contemporary students handle various internet interaction tools daily, and associating this knowledge with new ways of teaching allows for a dialogical and cooperative association of technology with education. Therefore, this is a bibliographic research, which shows that Scrum can bring several benefits to education, including: the formation of small and collaborative teams, prioritization of the most important aspects, evaluation of progress, among others.
