UMA REVISÃO DOS IMPACTOS DA INTEGRAÇÃO DE VEÍCULOS ELÉTRICOS NA REDE DE DISTRIBUIÇÃO

Abstract

In comparison to combustion vehicles, electric vehicles (EVs) reduce gas emissions into the atmosphere. However, they can generate impacts on the distribution grid due to their largescale charging. In this context, this article aims to review existing literature that has studied the impacts that the integration of EVs can cause on voltage quality, harmonics, overload on cables and transformers, and the peak demand of an electric distribution grid. The resulting review is essential for defining ways to mitigate these impacts caused by EVs. Some solutions found include controlled charging, photovoltaic distributed generation (PVDG), and the implementation of battery energy storage systems (BESS).
