Abstract: This study aimed to understand the impacts of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) on family dynamics, considering emotional, social, educational, and inclusive aspects related to the daily lives of children and adolescents diagnosed with the disorder. It is a qualitative, exploratory study developed through a literature review of national academic databases, analyzing publications from 2007 to 2025. The results show that ADHD transcends the individual clinical dimension, significantly affecting family relationships, the organization of routines, and the emotional well-being of caregivers. It was observed that families of children and adolescents with ADHD frequently face emotional overload, family conflicts, school difficulties, and processes of social stigmatization. Furthermore, studies indicate that the absence of institutional support and inclusive pedagogical practices amplifies the challenges experienced by families. Conversely, the literature highlights that support networks, multidisciplinary interventions, dialogue between family and school, and parenting strategies based on acceptance and the organization of routines contribute to minimizing the impacts of the disorder. It is concluded that the understanding of ADHD should be broad and humanized, considering not only the symptoms but also the family and educational demands involved in the inclusion and care process.

Abstract: Assistive Technology (AT) encompasses resources, devices, software, and services designed to promote the autonomy, accessibility, and active participation of students with visual impairments. The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) with AT in the context of special education has expanded inclusion possibilities for students with low vision, fostering the development of cognitive, social, and academic skills. Tools such as screen readers, applications with optical character recognition (OCR), digital magnifiers, and AI-based support systems provide greater independence in accessing content, performing educational activities, and keeping pace with schoolwork. Strategies involving accessible tablets, enlarged text, multimodal materials, and smart applications enable differentiated pedagogical mediation, thereby optimizing the teaching-learning process. However, the implementation of these technologies faces significant challenges within school systems—such as limited financial resources—that hinder the acquisition and maintenance of equipment. Furthermore, a lack of ongoing teacher training and adequate infrastructure impedes the effective use of these resources. Thus, investigating these obstacles is crucial to understanding how public policies, municipal budgets, and school management influence access to AT, directly impacting student inclusion and full participation in the educational environment.
