This study aimed to analyze the epidemiological profile of scorpion accidents in the municipality of Morrinhos (GO) between 2012 and 2023, using data from the Notifiable Diseases Information System (SINAN). This is a quantitative, descriptive, and retrospective study based on the analysis of variables such as sex, age group, sting location, treatment time, and case evolution. The results indicated a growing trend in scorpion accident incidence, rising from 12.06 cases per 10,000 inhabitants in 2012 to 31.74 in 2023. Most accidents occurred in women (51%), predominantly in the 10-39 age group. The most affected body part was the hand (33%), and a treatment time of less than one hour was recorded in 74% of cases. Mild classification was predominant (91%), and the cure rate reached 98%. It is concluded that scorpion accidents in Morrinhos follow national trends and require preventive actions and health education strategies to mitigate their impacts. The analyzed references approach the teaching practice exercised in the initial series of basic education, seeking the knowledge of the element that makes this connection between the practice and the theory of the teaching of environmental education, with the presentation of the ideas of authors such as Vladimir P. de Freitas, Pedro Jacobi, Djanine F.S. Santos, who report that Environmental Education at school is essential for children's knowledge and socialization. With the suspension of classes, teachers and schools as a whole had to reinvent themselves and change their educational practices, as they used to have their own classrooms. In this period of isolation, teachers organized and continued their work at home. Mathematics is an area of knowledge that was built from human development, being very important for every society. This article presents the challenges in teaching mathematics to elementary school students from the 1st to 5th grades, in the context of the pandemic, based on data collected through qualitative research. Five teachers from the cities of Ceres, Jaraguá and Goianésia were interviewed. We intend to assess the difficulties the teachers encountered when teaching mathematics in the early years. Which methodologies were applied to meet all students needs, and the adaptations that took place. Through the interview, five threads were generated that address the pedagogical practices and the teachers of how they continued their work.
