Abstract: Currently, society is increasingly connected. In recent years, technological advances have brought major changes, causing significant impacts on society's behavior. Having said that, we can observe that children and teenagers are gaining access to new technologies through social networks very easily, something that has been causing an alarm in the educational field. On the other hand, traditional teaching and some pedagogical methods are becoming outdated. This study, in its research problem, will think and reflect theoretically on the contribution of media and technologies in the Brazilian educational reality, with one of the main objectives being: verifying the impact of using media and technologies in the teaching-learning process. in elementary school. The methodological research instrument will be through bibliographical research. Therefore, this work seeks to analyze that there is a certain distance between the school, students and teachers, related to the use of media and technologies within the school environment and this has impacted the teaching-learning process. However, what is expected is a closer relationship between school, student and teacher, so that this gap between school, teachers and students can be reduced in relation to the use of media and technologies.

Abstract: This research was carried out using the literature review methodology, following the hermeneutic method, that is, interpreting and understanding how theorists analyze the themes of postmodernity and identity, which directs the discussion on the idea of ​​“Postmodernity ”. In the theoretical debate, authors state that the postmodern period could be identified in the last decades of the 20th century. But it is worth highlighting that there is no unanimous consensus on the beginning of this period, much less at which time it was established, so the temporal division used in this research will follow the chronology of the Polish Sociologist, Zygmunt Bauman (2007), due to its practicality in divide the centuries by relevant historical milestones. &#xD;
The choice of authors who support the construction of this research, in short, follows a line of study in accordance with the study of social sciences, philosophy, arts, architecture, geography, history, among many other areas that study and tend to conceptualize this period. Postmodernity becomes a historical period completely different from the modern period, which has provided pertinent debates about such changes. When reflecting on the expansion of multiple identities, it is also necessary to analyze the criticism and resistance that affect this new social modulation. It is hoped that this study will promote relevant reflection, which will encourage readers to examine the entire debated context, to better redirect their thoughts and practices as postmodern subjects, both at the collective and individual levels. Eagleton (1998) describes this period of history as follows:&#xD;
Postmodernity is a line of thought that questions classical notions of truth, reason, identity and objectivity, the idea of ​​progress or universal emancipation, single systems, grand narratives or definitive foundations of explanation (Eagleton, 1998, p. 05). &#xD;
&#xD;
It is considered that one of the relevant points exposed by the theoretical debate that will be explored in this text covers several questions, with reflections that have been and are being perceived and discussed among contemporary thinkers, who seek to portray the various forms of the current social organization carried out since this period was identified, classified and named as “postmodernity” and the identities belonging to this period.
