Abstract: This study proposes to investigate the relationship between students' beliefs about the experience of being evaluated and anxiety indicators. Based on the theory of the Socio-interactive Belief Structuring System, this work considers the complex network of socio-interactive factors through which pathological anxiety develops and can affect the health of students who perceive the assessment situation as a threat. The proposed analyzes highlight structured beliefs in family interactions and teacher-student interactions, considering the meaning of the institution where the study is located and its cultural environment. The school, in turn, is considered from the background of a hedocultural society. In order to reach the proposed objective, a qualitative method was used, of a descriptive nature, aiming at the production of reflections on teacher-student interactions and the structuring of healthier beliefs about the experiences of school evaluation. As an educational product, a video documentary was produced, aimed at teachers, the academic community, families and the community in general in order to promote healthier interactions aimed at a more sober, safe and healthy relationship for students with their school performance evaluations. The Dissertation presented to the Graduate Program in Professional and Technological Education, offered by the Anápolis campus of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Goiás, as part of the requirements for obtaining the title of Master/Master in Professional and Technological Education.

Abstract: Facing a scenario in which the world population is constantly growing, it is necessary to search new technologies so that it is possible to increase food production in the long term. Therefore, technologies such as vertical farms are becoming increasingly relevant within agriculture. These technologies consist of environments where variables such as ambient temperature, soil moisture, air humidity, natural lighting and artificial lighting are controlled to optimize the production process. Thus, this work consisted of evaluating the impacts of substrate heating on the vegetable seedlings production. A substrate temperature control system was developed using the PID technique so that there were no temperature fluctuations during planting. The same technique was used to control irrigation water temperature to avoid thermal shock, and possible seed impracticability during the irrigation process. A soil moisture control system was used to ensure that the cultivars were always in the ideal condition. In view of this, it was possible to conclude that the substrate heating has positive or negative impacts on seedlings production depending of the temperature range, and the species used.

Título: DE CARNICEIROS À SAQUEADORES DE MATERIAL PLÁSTICO: IMPACTOS TOXICOLÓGICOS DA INGESTÃO PLÁSTICA EM URUBUS-DA-CABEÇA-PRETA Coragyps atratus (CATHARTIFORMES, CATHARTIDAE)

Abstract: Despite plastic ingestion has already been reported in several bird species, its physiological impacts have been little inspected, especially in representatives of the Cathartidae family. Thus, in this study, we aimed to identify, characterize, and evaluate the effects arising from the ingestion of plastic materials by Coragyps atratus adults, that captured in landfill areas. Herein, a total of 51 individuals were captured, the frequency of plastic intake being higher than 40%. The plastic materials consisted mainly of low-density polyethylene and film-type polystyrene, as well as presenting irregular shapes and diameters between 10 and 30 mm. Biochemically, we observed in animals that contained plastics in the stomach ("plastic" group) high production of reactive oxygen species (ROS), hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) and malondialdehyde (MDA) - especially in the intestine, muscle and brain - whose activity of catalase (CAT) and superoxide dismutase (SOD) was not sufficient to counteract the oxidative stress. Moreover, in the liver of these same animals, we observed high production of nitrite and nitrate, suggesting a hepatic nitrosative stress. Plus, we observed a cholinesterase effect in animals from the “plastic” group, marked by increased activity of butyrylcholinesterase (BChE) (in the brain) and muscle and cerebra acetylcholinesterase (AChE). On the other hand, the biochemical changes perceived were not significantly correlated with the identified plastic material concentrations (2.808 ± 0.598 items/g of stomach content and 0.276 ± 0.070 items/g of stomach – fresh weight), body condition of the animals, size, and shape of the identified plastic materials. Hence, our study sheds the light on the toxicity of plastics deposited in landfills and their ingestion by C. atratus, which reinforces the hypothesis that these materials are harming the health of these birds and, consequently, the dynamics of their populations.

Abstract: This study investigated the knowledge that undergraduate students in Chemistry at Instituto Federal de Goiás (IFG) - Campus Luziânia and Instituto Federal Goiano (IF Goiano) - Campus Morrinhos have about the adaptation of visual resources/materials in teaching chemistry/ science for deaf students. The research was developed based on the quali-quantitative approach, classifying it as a descriptive research, from the data collected with 25 students, 13 in the IFG - Luziânia campus and 12 IF Goiano - Morrinhos campus, research participants, which were described and analyzed with methodological rigor and analogous to this type of study through qualitative analysis. The data collection instruments used were a questionnaire and a semi-structured interview. To build the educational product, a workshop was held: Thinking about adapting visual resources/materials and images for teaching chemistry/science to deaf students was a 9-hour extension activity divided into three meetings of three hours each, carried out in remote mode by Google Meet platform with the objective of reflecting on the teaching of Chemistry for deaf students and as a locus of data collection. At the end of the training workshop, the academics carried out adaptation activities of visual resources/materials and images used to assist in the teaching-learning process of Chemistry in this context. The reflections carried out and the resources constructed during the workshop are presented in the form of an e-book with guidelines and pedagogical strategies for teaching Chemistry/Science for the deaf. The analyses, reflections and notes made in this dissertation are based on the data collected through the questionnaire and semi-structured interview and on the bibliographical research regarding the adaptation of visual resources/materials and images, chemistry/science teaching, visuality, visual pedagogy, Vygotsky's theory and as well as pedagogical strategies used to provide learning for deaf students. Thus, this work contributes to the development of the teaching-learning process for the deaf and awakens in its public reflections, debates about the teaching of chemistry, the adaptation and construction of visual resources for teaching the deaf.
