Abstract: The article presents considerations on digital culture in Professional and Technological Education (PTE) and seeks to answer how digital culture has influenced pedagogical practices and the development of professional competencies in the context of Technological Professional Education, as well as the challenges faced in the effective integration of digital technologies into the teaching and learning process. In this sense, the article aims to identify and discuss the main challenges faced by educators and students in effectively integrating digital technologies into the teaching-learning process within Professional and Technological Education, proposing strategies to overcome these barriers. The research methodology involved a qualitative literature review using specialized data sources. To build the theoretical framework of this study, bibliographic sources were selected based on their academic relevance and reliability, mainly using publications available through the Portal de Periódicos of the Brazilian Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES), the Revista Brasileira de Educação Profissional e Tecnológica (RBEPT), and Google Scholar. In addition to the bibliographic research, this study also used quantitative data collected by the Continuous National Household Sample Survey (PNAD Contínua), conducted by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE)
