Abstract: With this study, we sought to determine the water quality in a stretch of the Muquém stream, belonging to the Paranaíba River basin, located in the municipality of Urutaí, Goiás-GO, in order to foster environmental bodies, through a Technical Conclusive Report (TCR), to make decisions regarding the conservation of waters in the Cerrado biome. This study contributes to the achievement of the targets of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDG 6 (Drinking Water and Sanitation) and for the dissemination and promotion of the 2030 Agenda. For the purposes of discussion, the analyzed parameters had their values compared to CONAMA Resolution 357/2005 (CONAMA, 2005) for sweet waters class 2, as well as Ordinance GM/MS no. 888/2021 of the Ministry of Health. It was found to be necessary, through municipal and state environmental bodies, policies of land use and occupation in order to obtain quality water for current and future generations. In the experimental conditions and according to the results obtained, it was concluded that the waters of the Muquém stream show signs of pollution, and its water treatment for consumption is necessary. It is important that there is a balance between urbanization and preservation, for which the implementation of effective environmental zoning and investment in public sanitation are recommended. Continue monitoring water quality in the microbasin of the Muquém stream is of paramount importance to identify any changes in water quality and take appropriate measures to mitigate negative impacts.

Abstract: This work is the result of a technical cooperation agreement with the Municipal Government of Santa Cruz de Goiás-GO, aiming to determine the water quality index(WQI), the trophic state index (TSI) and verifiy the water classification and compliance of its uses with current environment regulation (CONAMA Resolution No.357, of March 17, 2005). The study was carried in the Rio do Peixe, located in the Santo Antônio da Esperança District, over a 13,4 km. The result was a Conclusive Technical Report containing detailed analyses of the physical, chemical, biological and microbiological parameters of the water. This report will support decision-making by the Secretariat for the Environment and Water Resources, promoting management and conservation measures for the Rio do Peixe. The results will not only contribute to scientific advancement, but will also have a direct practical impact, generating information for local environmental management, promoting the conservation of water resources and the sustainability of the Cerrado biome, benefiting both the environment and local communities. This work contributes to achieving the goals of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation) and to the dissemination and promotion of the 2030 Agenda.

Abstract: This Technical-Technological Product consists of an interpretive guide to ecological trails in the Cerrado of Ipameri-GO, containing detailed descriptions, photographic records, thematic maps of phytophysiognomies and detailed information aboute routes to natural attractions, for educational purposes and to promote local ecotourism. The methodology combined field visits, georeferencing, and remote sensing and geoprocessing techniques, allowing the characterization of the main vegetation formations and the monitoring of their temporal dynamics. The material is applicable in various contexts, ranging from sustainable tourism activities to environmental education practices and the formulation of public policies aimed at conservation. In addition to supporting environmental and educational managers as well as researchers, the product seeks to raise awareness among the local community and visitors about the cultural, historical, and ecological significance of the Cerrado, contributing to the development of collective environmental awareness and to the strengthening of local and regional sustainable development.

Abstract: This study presents a technical and operational diagnosis of the water supply system of the Instituto Federal Goiano – Campus Urutaí, supplied by the Palmital Stream and treated in a conventional Water Treatment Plant (WTP). The objective was to evaluate the physical-chemical and microbiological quality of raw, treated, and distributed water, as well as the operational efficiency of the WTP, based on Brazilian drinking water standards (GM/MS Ordinance No. 888/2021). Samples were collected during the dry and rainy seasons at the intake point, WTP outlet, reservoirs, and drinking fountains on campus. The results showed high turbidity removal efficiency (>95%) and satisfactory performance of the coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, and filtration processes. However, non-compliance was observed regarding free residual chlorine in the distribution network, with occasional detection of coliforms at consumption points, indicating possible recontamination. The system was classified as technically functional but operating close to sanitary safety limits, requiring operational, structural, and monitoring improvements. The proposed recommendations aim to improve water quality control, reduce public health risks, and strengthen sustainable water resources management on campus.
