Abstract: The teaching-learning process consists of mediating content between teachers and students in the educational environment. Maintaining this process in its conventional form, stigmatized by the principles of the 1950s and 1960s, is a way to create deficiencies in education. With technological and scientific advancements, it is now easily possible to introduce other educational tools into this process, shaping a new way of teaching. It is up to educators to explore to the fullest extent various types of educational tools within their reach, as a proposal to make a class more interesting, engaging, and innovative. Nevertheless, these tools have not gained much ground, especially in the context of high school, due to several difficulties that hinder their use. In light of the aforementioned, this study aimed to conduct a literature review on scientific articles addressing the use of educational tools to assist the teaching-learning process. Additionally, through an empirical and qualitative research involving students from a public school in the municipality of Catalão-Goiás, it was observed that the preferred method of learning actually deviates from conventional methods, with a focus on dialogue between teachers and students, moving away from the tradition of exams as an evaluative mechanism. From the teachers' perspective, there is a need to explore other evaluative mechanisms as well as aids in their day-to-day teaching.

Abstract: The teaching-learning process needs didactic and innovative proposals to make this
teaching more exciting and enjoyable. In view of this, it is up to the teacher to seek
methodological innovation alternatives that may be part of their pedagogical planning
with the intuition of achieving better efficiency in this educational process. Therefore,
this work presented a playful way of revising/reinforcing the contents taught in the first
year of high school regarding the discipline of chemistry. Specifically, the ludic game
'Quízmica' was created, as an innovative proposal on the contents of chemistry in the
1st year of high school. To test the pedagogical efficiency of the game, two high school
classes (1st and 2nd years) from a public school in the city of Catalão-GO were invited
to participate in the research. After the two groups had played the game, a form with 6
questions was applied to measure the efficiency of the ludic game. The results showed
that the playful game “Quízmica” had 100% acceptance in terms of interest, pleasure,
and satisfaction for both groups. However, in a more specific way, what was shown
revealed that the game showed a higher efficiency yield in the second-year class, as
expected, since this group had already had contact with the first-year subject. How ever, the game “Quízmica” was presented as an efficient teaching tool that can be
implemented not only with contents aimed at the first year of chemistry, but also for the
other years, as well as for other areas of high school.

Abstract: Young researchers tend to have contact with scientifically emerging themes, usually at the undergraduate level, when they develop a scientific initiation opportunely. However, providing this contact in high school awakens and encourages young people to start a career in scien-tific research. In this regard, the multidisciplinary area of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (N&N) has stood out in several fields of knowledge. Given this context, this study qualitatively surveyed, through a questionnaire, the level of knowledge of high school students about the terms “Nanoscience” and “Nanotechnology”. The analysis of the questionnaires carried out by 160 students revealed a low level of knowledge about the themes. In addition, of the students who answered that they had knowledge about the themes, the computerization environment was the internet with the highest percentage. The school environment had one of the lowest percentages where students had contact with the terms. In the proposal to carry out a practi-cal class to better understand the concepts and definitions of nanosciences and nanotech-nology, the synthesis of magnetic nanoparticles was presented as an excellent didactic tool to introduce the terms in high school.

Abstract: It is easy to see that natural science is present in the daily life of human beings. This perception becomes much more evident with the development of scientific knowledge combined with technological development. Within this vision, this perception should be stimulated even within studies at the elementary school level, as advocated by the Curriculum Parameters of Natural Sciences. In this sense, this work focused on carrying out a survey in the form of an active search for higher education institutions that hold the training of the graduate in Natural Sciences and similar terminologies through the E-MEC platform. It was aimed to know if the proposition of this licensee is still growing in the country. In addition, two public schools in the municipality of Catalão-Goiás were used as samples to understand, in the view of the students, how the teaching of the discipline or the component of Science in Elementary School II is going, the teaching of Science in Elementary School II can be improved through approaches that promote contextualization, active learning, technology integration, interdisciplinarity, critical thinking and continuous teacher training. The achieved results demonstrated that the students of two schools A and B, belonging to the 6th and 9th grade, demonstrate a lot of interest in the discipline of Sciences. However, some factors such as curricular fragmentation, lack of teacher training, projected theoretical approach, among others, end up not being favorable to a unified vision of this discipline.
