Abstract: This study presents the project Mathematics of Socialization, developed in a public school in Rio Verde-GO, aiming to investigate how pedagogical practices based on socialization and collaborative learning can improve the performance of 6th grade students in Mathematics. The main objective was to analyze the factors that favor learning through peer interaction, shared responsibility, and the development of socio-emotional skills in the educational process. The research is relevant as it addresses one of the greatest challenges in basic education: low achievement in Mathematics, often linked to traditional, teacher-centered methods. A descriptive methodology was adopted, combining bibliographic review with field research. Data were collected through diagnostic assessments, group activities, and systematic observation, and analyzed using content analysis. The results showed an increase in average performance in Mathematics, especially in the classes involved in the project, as well as a reduction in low achievement rates and greater student engagement. Significant gains in leadership, cooperation, and communication skills were also observed, indicating that the learning process went beyond cognitive aspects and also encompassed social and emotional dimensions. It is concluded that the “Mathematics of Socialization” project represents an effective methodological alternative to overcome historical difficulties in Mathematics teaching. Its replication in different contexts and interdisciplinary integration may strengthen meaningful learning and promote school inclusion.

Abstract: This text presents an experience report aimed at describing the process of implementation of the Estação IF Lab Maker prototyping laboratory  at Instituto Federal Goiano, Campus Rio Verde, Verde, following the approval in the Public Call of MEC/SETEC, Public Notice nº 35/2020. The implementation took place during the Covid-19 pandemic and posed several challenges for the team. This work was developed using a qualitative approach, employing participant observation as the data collection procedure, with documentation analysis. Throughout the process, the laboratory was actively involved in various teaching, research, and extension projects, and participated in numerous events, as evidenced by the records, demonstrating the impact of the laboratory's activities on the educational formation and social role of the institution.

Abstract: This paper analyzes the implementation of public policies aimed at Early Childhood Education and how they are essential to ensure access, quality, and equity in the care and education of children. According to the Federal Constitution of Brazil, early childhood education has become a right of the child and a duty of both the State and the family. Previously, it was viewed merely as social assistance rather than as an integral part of Basic Education. The study also highlights the challenges faced during the implementation of the first stage of Early Childhood Education from its inception to the present day. Therefore, the general objective was to investigate, based on normative frameworks such as the Statute of the Child and Adolescent (ECA), the National Education Plan (PNE), the Law of Guidelines and Bases of National Education (LDB), the National Curriculum Guidelines for Early Childhood Education, the Brazilian Inclusion Law, among others, how States, Municipalities, and other institutions have sought to ensure the development of children in their physical, emotional, cognitive, and social dimensions. The research reveals significant progress, yet there is still a long way to go, facing challenges such as the lack of adequate infrastructure, the need for greater appreciation of education professionals, and the unequal availability of school places, among others. The methodology used was a bibliographic study based on theoretical investigation, which served as the foundation for this work, aiming to promote changes that better meet the needs of early childhood education within the legal framework and to seek the effective implementation of public policies that strengthen educational management and reinforce the political commitment to childhood as a priority.

Abstract: The reduction in investments in Brazilian education due to Constitutional Amendment No. 95/2016 has negatively impacted the sector, especially Federal Institutes. This article analyzes whether there was an increase in the quantity and amount of parliamentary amendments directed to these institutes between 2014 and 2022. Using an exploratory approach, with bibliographic review and secondary data analysis, the results indicate growth in the allocation of amendments after EC No. 95. It is concluded that amendments have become an alternative to meet financial demands, suggesting further research to investigate the relationship between parliamentarians who supported the amendment and the allocation of these resources.
