Abstract: The ovarian cyst is one of the most recurrent problems in animal reproduction, with a significant impact on the reduction of reproductive efficiency. Conceptually, cystic ovarian disease is characterized by the persistence of an anovulatory follicular structure greater than 2.5 cm in diameter, for a period longer than ten days, in the absence of a corpus luteum and with interruption of normal estrous cycles. While the cyst persists in the cows, they become infertile. The possible cause of ovulation failure is a deficiency of LH receptors in the ovary and not a primary deficiency of this hormone. Different methods can be used in the treatment, such as the Ovsynch protocol, sequential applications of GnRH and PGF2alpha, luteinizing hormone, among others. Given this context, this case report aimed to monitor two dairy cows diagnosed with an ovarian cyst. The diagnosis of the ovarian cyst is performed concomitantly, when carrying out the reproductive follow-up of the animals, and in these cases, the transrectal ultrasonography exam is the most routinely used. After the diagnosis of this pathology, the animals were treated with the Ovsynch protocol. After that, an ultrasound examination was carried out, which verified the efficiency of the treatment, after 30 days TAI of 3 managements was carried out with a positive pregnancy confirmation after 30 days of insemination.

Abstract: The objective was to report a case of implementation of a protocol to reduce
CCS using the BPF protocol in a property in the rural area of Pontalina, in the state of Goiás.
In which, through the practice of handling the milking line, added to the other items of the
protocol, it obtained positive results, drastically reducing the CCS present in the milk and
increasing the average milk production by 28.13%, comparing the production prior to the
implementation of the protocol.

Abstract: The pelletizing process consists of the agglomeration of small particles into larger particles through a mechanical process that combines humidity, heat and pressure. The present work aims to outline the process of industrial manufacture of pelleted feed, in order to facilitate the understanding of the flow of operation of the equipment and the sequence used in the process. Among the parts described in the production are the flowchart of the process, starting from the mixer that is responsible for the homogenization of the feed that is still mash, the passage through the conditioner and retainer, where the meal goes through the heat and pressure treatment, then the entry in the pelletizing machine that shapes the feed and finally the cooling that ends the pelleting process and makes the consumption of the pellets possible.

Abstract: Metritis and endometritis are common in dairy herds and these types of conditions cause damage to the producer, as they directly interfere with reproductive rates. The objective of this work was to diagnose reproductive disorders in 27 crossbred Holstein cows using Metricheck® and to evaluate the efficiency of this tool for this purpose, in addition to treating possible animals with any alteration and evaluating whether the drugs were effective in curing them. Animals in the voluntary waiting period were chosen and changes were noted. Of the total cows evaluated, four (14.81%) had metritis, five (18.51%) had endometritis and 18 (66.68%) had clean mucus. Females with metritis were treated with Ceftiofur 50% and animals with endometritis were treated with Cefapirin 19g. Of the nine treated cows, those with metritis were all cured and of the five with endometritis, only three improved, and two showed disease recurrence. Of the 18 cattle with clear mucus, none developed endometritis or metritis after 21 days. The use of Metricheck® as a tool for evaluating uterine conditions is efficient and the treatment proved to be effective against uterine infections, allowing the regression of the infection and return to reproductive activity.
