Abstract: The present work aims to carry out a theoretical study on Newton’s Method and to apply the&#xD;
concepts studied to the implementation of this numerical method in Excel and Scilab software.&#xD;
More precisely, we will define Newton’s Method, present its main theoretical results, and apply&#xD;
the method to calculate real roots of continuous functions. Next, we will present a variation of&#xD;
Newton’s Method to overcome the need to calculate the derivative of the given function. Finally,&#xD;
for better theoretical understanding, based on the results studied, the method will be implemented&#xD;
in Excel and in a Scilab environment.

Abstract: The present Bachelor's Thesis aims to explore the construction of scale models as an effective pedagogical tool in teaching mathematical and geometrical knowledge, with a special focus on the application of scales and exploration of geometric solids. The Oscar Niemeyer Cultural Center (CCON), located in Goiânia-GO, was chosen for the construction of the scale models, which were applied to students from the 2nd grade A and 2nd grade B of Rodrigo Rodrigues da Cunha School, in Pires do Rio-GO. The study developed addresses the importance of using scales in the construction of scale models, as well as the identification of different geometric solids, highlighting how this practice contributes to students' geometric understanding. We will show the different techniques and materials that students used in the elaboration of the scale models, as well as the results obtained in the execution of this activity. We can already say that this work provided a whole differentiated teaching and learning experience throughout the construction of the scale models.

Abstract: This work arises from the experience of the Remote Supervised Curricular Internship (ECSR). During this period as an intern, I was able to observe the organization of the Instituto Federal Goiano Campus Urutaí to continue teaching, the obstacles that arose in this process and also the teaching/learning of Mathematics, in addition to having to adapt to the Remote Supervised Internship. Interactions mediated by virtual environments, mainly by the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), Moodle, and web conferences enabled students to access teaching (content, activities, assessments and interactions through chat and forum within Moodle with teachers ). Therefore, this work reports the importance of using technology in the development of ECSR.

Abstract: We cannot question that the COVID-19 pandemic is causing a revival in life.&#xD;
the people, the health, the economy, the education, among others. Leaf em, 2023,&#xD;
We still experience the consequences of this period both positively and&#xD;
negatively. Neste estudo, we are interested in the reflections of your senses.&#xD;
educational, specifically in the area of Mathematics, caused by Remote Teaching&#xD;
Emergency (ERE). Therefore the objective of this work was to identify and analyze&#xD;
In the academic scientific productions the impacts and challenges, in a short term, do&#xD;
ERE does not teach post-pandemic mathematics. A research carried out characterizes&#xD;
as qualitative and bibliographic. We search as sources of data for the publications of&#xD;
scientific articles published in magazines. Before doing this, search on Google.&#xD;
academic, we configure the site or period of publications, considering those&#xD;
published from 2022. This period is justified by being post-pandemic.&#xD;
COVID 19. Of the 107 publications found, only 05 (five) are about&#xD;
Artigos and tinham relation with the research topic. Within the 05 (five) articles, 01&#xD;
(um) represented the research to be carried out, therefore, it does not contain the data&#xD;
analyzed, in this way this article was excluded from the analysis, therefore, it would not help&#xD;
respond to research question. Totalize 04 (four) selected items.&#xD;
These analyzes will reveal positive and negative impacts, as well as future challenges to&#xD;
We will be confronted in the teaching and learning process of Mathematics.
