Abstract: This Technical-Technological Product consists of an interpretive guide to ecological trails in the Cerrado of Ipameri-GO, containing detailed descriptions, photographic records, thematic maps of phytophysiognomies and detailed information aboute routes to natural attractions, for educational purposes and to promote local ecotourism. The methodology combined field visits, georeferencing, and remote sensing and geoprocessing techniques, allowing the characterization of the main vegetation formations and the monitoring of their temporal dynamics. The material is applicable in various contexts, ranging from sustainable tourism activities to environmental education practices and the formulation of public policies aimed at conservation. In addition to supporting environmental and educational managers as well as researchers, the product seeks to raise awareness among the local community and visitors about the cultural, historical, and ecological significance of the Cerrado, contributing to the development of collective environmental awareness and to the strengthening of local and regional sustainable development.
Keywords: Ecological trails; Cerrado phytophysiognomies; Sustainable ecotourism; Environmental education.

Abstract: This study presents a technical and operational diagnosis of the water supply system of the Instituto Federal Goiano – Campus Urutaí, supplied by the Palmital Stream and treated in a conventional Water Treatment Plant (WTP). The objective was to evaluate the physical-chemical and microbiological quality of raw, treated, and distributed water, as well as the operational efficiency of the WTP, based on Brazilian drinking water standards (GM/MS Ordinance No. 888/2021). Samples were collected during the dry and rainy seasons at the intake point, WTP outlet, reservoirs, and drinking fountains on campus. The results showed high turbidity removal efficiency (>95%) and satisfactory performance of the coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, and filtration processes. However, non-compliance was observed regarding free residual chlorine in the distribution network, with occasional detection of coliforms at consumption points, indicating possible recontamination. The system was classified as technically functional but operating close to sanitary safety limits, requiring operational, structural, and monitoring improvements. The proposed recommendations aim to improve water quality control, reduce public health risks, and strengthen sustainable water resources management on campus.

Abstract: This study presents the development of two booklets as printed didactic materials: one structured as a didactic sequence intended for teachers and the other designed as a support material for students. Both booklets use drawing as a language and methodological tool for teaching Geography. The objective is to produce materials that employ drawing as a methodological resource to enhance the teaching of the water cycle and the morphology of hydrographic basins. The development of these resources arose from the need to make Physical Geography contents more accessible, understandable, and engaging for Elementary School students, especially those in the 6th grade, in view of the recurring difficulties in assimilating topics such as the water cycle and the morphology of hydrographic basins. The didactic sequence, or teacher’s booklet, consists of a set of pedagogical illustrations created by the author himself, organized into thematic lessons that facilitate the visualization and interpretation of natural processes and their articulation with geographic space. In turn, the student’s booklet provides greater autonomy of expression and interaction, allowing learners to engage with their own ways of perceiving the world and its events. The booklets are intended for Basic Education, specifically for Elementary School students; however, the material can be adapted to non-formal environmental education contexts. Classroom application demonstrated positive effects, such as increased student motivation, interest, and participation, fostering more meaningful learning. From a technical-pedagogical perspective, the use of visual resources such as drawings represents an advance in the teaching-learning process, contributing to the development of abstraction skills, spatial interpretation, and critical reflection. It is also expected that the booklets will have a positive impact on the formation of values related to citizenship and environmental responsibility, particularly with regard to the preservation of the Cerrado biome.

Abstract: The Initial and Continuing Training Course in Irrigation Management and Water Resources Management, developed at IF Goiano Campus Urutaí in partnership with the Municipal Environmental Fund of Urutaí-GO, emerged as a strategy to slow down environmental degradation in the Palmital River basin in Urutaí-GO. The course, with a workload of 60 hours, integrated theoretical and practical training to empower farmers, environmental technicians, and public agents in sustainable irrigation techniques, water monitoring, and the recovery of degraded areas. The methodology combined lectures, laboratory activities with water quality analysis, and field practices. The results included the adoption of efficient irrigation systems (sprinkler, drip irrigation), the application of environmental legislation such as that addressed by the Forest Code and the National Water Resources Policy, and the development of local water conservation projects. This work sought not only to improve the management of natural resources, but also to strengthen community participation in ecosystem preservation, aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), item 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation) and item 15 (Life on Land). It concludes that vocational education is a strategic axis for transforming critical socio-environmental realities, promoting the integration of technical knowledge, public policies, and local engagement.
