Abstract: This institutional guide was developed by the Center for Afro-Brazilian and Indigenous Studies (NEABI) and the Center for Studies and Research on Sexual and Gender Diversity (NEPEDS) of the Federal Institute Goiano (IF Goiano) with the aim of guiding and equipping staff members to identify, receive, refer, and monitor students who are victims of violence within the educational environment. The document presents concepts and classifications of different forms of violence, including physical, psychological, sexual, moral, institutional, symbolic, racial, ableist, misogynistic, LGBTQIAPN+phobic, and religious intolerance-related violence, as well as bullying. It also establishes institutional procedures for addressing such situations. Grounded in Brazilian legal and regulatory frameworks, the guide proposes standardized procedures for initial assistance, qualified listening, institutional referrals, disciplinary proceedings, and ongoing support for victims.

Abstract: It is with great pleasure that we present this work, which captures the many elements that contributed to IF For Business achieving CERNE 1 certification. IF For Business is the business incubator of IF Goiano – Rio Verde Campus. This milestone, granted by Anprotec, represents a significant achievement that reflects the incubator's organizational maturity and validates the implementation of standardized, efficient processes to support innovative entrepreneurship. The innovation ecosystem at IF Goiano and Rio Verde Campus is structured as an integrated system, bringing together graduate programs, an incubator, and the CERNE 1 framework. The graduate programs serve as a source of advanced knowledge, technology development, and the training of highly qualified professionals. These capabilities and innovations are then absorbed by the incubator, which provides technical and managerial support to turn research into sustainable ventures. CERNE 1 certification is more than just a seal of quality—it is recognition of a deep commitment to the sustainable development of ventures that generate a positive impact on society. It ensures that the incubator follows well-established best practices, offering a solid foundation for the growth of startups and other innovative businesses. For IF For Business, this certification represents not only a goal achieved but also a symbol of its ability to connect entrepreneurs with experts, technology, and knowledge. It is worth highlighting that this achievement would not have been possible without the synergy and cooperation of CEAGRE (the Center of Excellence in Exponential Agriculture). The partnership between these two initiatives has been essential in maximizing results and promoting a seamless integration between incubated ventures and the demands of the agribusiness sector. This collaboration reflects a shared vision of innovation—one that brings together technical expertise, support structures, and cutting-edge strategies to transform ideas into high-impact solutions. This book details the pillars of that journey. It is a reflection of the collective work of teams, managers, and partners, and serves as a valuable guide for institutions aiming to reach similar levels of excellence. May this book inspire new actions and reaffirm the importance of innovation as a driver of social and economic development. Just as IF For Business and CEAGRE have shown that working together is the key to great achievements, we hope that readers of this work will find in it a source of inspiration and learning.

Abstract: This book brings together innovative pedagogical experiences developed by Basic Education teachers who were awarded in the Professor Diamond of Education Award, held within the framework of the V ELPED 2024, the VIII Seminar of the Pedagogical Residency Program, the IX Seminar of the Institutional Scholarship Program for Teaching Initiation (PIBID) of IF Goiano, and the III International Seminar on Teacher Education. Inspired by the recognition of teachers promoted by the educator Dermeval Saviani, the award emerged from an experience lived by the organizers in 2017 and was implemented at IF Goiano in 2019 with the purpose of recognizing, disseminating, and valuing innovative pedagogical practices developed in different educational contexts. Over the years, the award has expanded its scope and consolidated itself as a nationwide initiative, bringing together experiences from different regions of Brazil. The works presented in this volume highlight teacher protagonism, pedagogical creativity, and a commitment to transformative education, reaffirming teachers as knowledge producers and agents of social change.

The book is organized into four sections—Elementary Education, Secondary Education, Youth and Adult Education, and Professional and Technological Education. It presents accounts that reflect diverse educational realities, contributing to the dissemination of successful practices, the strengthening of the teaching profession, and the promotion of high-quality public education.

Abstract: Family farming constitutes a strategic axis for the consolidation of sustainable, resilient, and socially equitable agri-food systems, playing a central role in promoting food and nutritional security, generating employment and income, preserving the environment, and strengthening local economies. By integrating traditional knowledge with technological innovations, this sector emerges as a fundamental pillar of rural development and social justice. In this context, the 21st edition of the Agro Centro-Oeste Familiar Fair (ACOF), held from May 8 to 10, 2024, in Mineiros, Goiás, Brazil, under the theme “Climate Change, Innovation, and Socio-productive Inclusion,” served as a platform for debate and exchange of experiences, highlighting contemporary challenges and opportunities in family farming. Concurrently, the 12th Scientific Seminar on Family Farming stood out as a space for knowledge dissemination, addressing strategic topics such as digital agriculture, sustainability, public policies, social equity, circular economy, and pedagogical innovation in rural education. The scientific collection resulting from these initiatives brings together diverse studies and experiences that reflect the complexity and dynamic nature of the sector, integrating teaching, research, innovation, and extension. Thus, it contributes to the expansion of knowledge, the dissemination of innovative methodologies, and the development of practical solutions to rural challenges, reinforcing the construction of a more sustainable and socially just development model.
