Abstract

The beer market has a growing trend, but the information disclosed is insufficient to confirm such statement. Breweries have taxation models such as Simple, Presumed Profit and Real Profit, and are also inscribed on boards, especially the Chemistry Council (CRQ). However the objective of the study was to study the breweries of the state of Goiás and Distrito Federal, based on data from the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (MAPA), engineering council (CREA), (CRQ) and pharmacy council (CRF). . Studies indicate that beer originated in Egypt or the Middle East and arrived in Brazil in colonial times, after its production was developed. In 2008, there were not 100 registered breweries in Brazil, but after 10 years it has surpassed 800 establishments and is in third place in the world production ranking. In the total ranking of breweries by state, Goiás is in seventh place and the Federal District is not even in the list. Among the business models used by the breweries, we can highlight Brewpubs, regional breweries with national distribution and Gypsies. A list of 32 breweries was obtained by MAPA, at CRQ IV 13 breweries, at CREA 5 breweries and one at CRF, a total of 27 breweries were contacted and of these 7 perform Gypsy production. From around 2015 onwards there was the largest emergence of the largest number of breweries. Gypsy production is still an emerging market, so it is clear that only a few establishments produce it.
